Government
Our government is designed so no one person has too much power. Here is the government structure:
Tribune < Senator < Vice President < President
The Tribune: Tribunes are the people who give word to citizens on what is going on and spread orders. They do not have
much work to do but they do get a little project to do for the guild every now and then. A tribune may run for senator when
a senator leaves the guild or moves to another position.
The Senator: The 12 senator's vote in new laws the president may pass or remove current ones. In an event of a 6-6 tie
there will be a public vote. Senators may NOT remove the president or vice president from office. But they may vote to initiate
a public vote to remove someone from office. At election time every 6 months senators may chose to run for president or vice
president.
The Vice President: The vice president is in charge of knowing what is happening in the guild. He/She is in charge of
almost everything the president is but may not introduce new laws. The Vice will take over as president if the president leaves
the guild during his/her term. The VP may chose to be a senator once his/her term is over.
The President: The president is the leader of the guild. He/she is in charge of pretty much everything. The president
is also in charge of foreign relations with other guilds and declares war. The president will be held in responsible for
almost anything that goes wrong in the guild. The president may chose to be a senator once his/her term is over.
Elections: A "Non-Public" election is an election between the senators and senators alone. A "Public
Election" allows everyone in the guild except plebeians to vote. An election will be taken place ever 6 months for a
new president and vice president. Anyone eligible to run may run as many times as they wish and the president and vice president
may chose to re-run.
